We should know by now that the errors or mistakes we make can be bad, but trying to cover them up is what typically makes it a much bigger problem.  How many times do we need to see the example of the cover up being worse than the act itself?  Can’t think of one off the top of your head (doubtful), then just read any newspaper today until you see one and likely numerous stories of a cover up happening.  Made a mistake at work?  It’s pretty simple, just fess up and not attempt to cover up.

We can fess up because we know that God forgives each of our sins that we bring to Him.  His Word shows us this over and over in that He will do so, if we only ask it of Him.  We all make mistakes.  Some small, some big but with each one He wants us to not hide or cover up from Him, but to bring it all forward without shame or hesitation.
