day 2295: 50 Years and Still Consistent

“And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching.”

What’s 50 years old and has been dependable and consistent for the entire 50 years it is old?  Has it really been 50 plus years that the ATM showed up?  The first ATM was put into service in London and can be found there now enshrined in gold. I’d like to see it as I have used an ATM since 1979 and never, not once, have I had a mistake occur from an ATM. Why is this important? Because, if we could make our products and services as flawless as the ATM has proven to be, then we could see another 50 years of our businesses thriving.

While we are not flawless, we can still strive to be the best we can.  In the office today,  let’s do our best to hold ourselves up as well as we can in front of and for others.  Let’s be the predictable ATM that when they come to us for advice, counsel, or a listening ear that what they get back from us is as close as we can be to what they would expect from the One we follow.
