I once tried to hire someone with a skill set that the company had never had before.  I tried and tried to explain what this person could do, but to no avail.  It was not until brought in a person with what I was trying to explain, that all of a sudden, like a miracle happened, that the same people who hadn’t listened to me before, we saying to me, “We need to hire him!”.  It’s the power of examples and each and every time we have the chance to bring forth a live example of of whatever it is that we are trying to introduce or explain, we should not miss the opportunity to do so.

The Bible is filled with examples for us.  Take these few to start:

Abraham: Take the first step

David: Pick up the rock

Samson: Give a second chance

Daniel: Find the way out of a pit

Noah: Let them call you a fool

We really don’t have to look much further that to God’s Word to see all the examples we should need.
