day 3K96: Master Class

“He said, “Then you see how every student well-trained in God’s kingdom is like the owner of a general store who can put his hands on anything you need, old or new, exactly when you need it.”

Someday soon we will be able to harness A.I. to bolster our memory and knowledge so that we can access just about anything we have learned in organized and predictable ways.  Until now we have had to depend on years and years of repetition and deep experience to master a subject or to be the provider of knowledge to others.  We are enamored today by the “Master Class” offerings because we get to go up close and personal with those whom have been there and done it well.  Well enough, that we might grab a few nuggets to short-cut our own needed time to learning.  There is no substitute for experience so what we doing to make sure that each of our employees are gaining what they will need to master their own craft of the future and also pass along to others what they already know?  Both are critical if we are attempting to build a company or organization that will last.

It’s not hard to imagine that Jesus said a lot of things that were never written down and captured or if they were, they didn’t make it to us in what we have for God’s Word.  John says it at the end of his account when he says that there isn’t a library in the world that could hold all that Jesus did and said.  So, is it possible that what we have is the “Master Class” of Jesus, the best of the best, the lessons that can have the largest impact on us and the world if we can learn them and follow through.  The verse in Matthew gives us the clear picture of how well we could become schooled, if we choose.  Imagine a life where we live through it having at our finger tips the knowledge of God, old, or new, exactly when we need it!  That is what we are offered today.  It’s right here for us as we follow Him.
