day 1999: Three Bubbles

“Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!”

If you own an iPhone and you text or iMessage, then you know that when you see the three bubbles after you send your message, that the person on the other end of the connection is typing out their text.  And, so we wait for the response.  Depending upon the type of conversation that we are having, we are either hopeful of the response, or we are anxious about the response that is coming.  Regardless, we can at least know that some response is being formulated. This also feels like how we should consider our customers are with our products and services.  They are responding, but are we watching for the three bubbles?

Many times when I pray, I will say that I know God is listening and will be answering, but do I really believe He will?  It is easy to say it, is is harder to truly believe that the answers will come. What we need to remember that when Jesus told us that we just needed to ask, that He was sending us His three bubbles, and all we have to do is truly believe and wait.
