day 3K322: What Is Already In Front Of Us

“And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.”

Television sports loves to get the live interview with athletes from the court, the field, the dugout, the pitch or the course.  It’s been difficult logistically with the need for microphones, connections, etc.  Last year the PGA Tour broadcasts started interviewing a golfer as the golfer walked from tee to green on Hole 16 of a tournament.  But, this time they didn’t have to mic up the golfer or have a reporter walking along side of them (like horseracing does with trainers as they walk from the barn to the paddock).  Instead, someone had the good idea of why not just use a cell phone connections through Airpods. It worked great and this year the golfer only has to wear one ear, not both, which allows him to stay in contact with what is happening around him while he walks and talks (using two cancelled or dampened the sounds around them).  What we can learn from all of this is that we don’t always have to over-complicate things.  It might be that just what we need is right there in front of us just waiting to be repurposed.

What has God given us that is right in front of us that we could tap into, pick up, start to use now instead of waiting on something else to show up?  It might be that God has already provided but we are just not yet seeing it.
