Does it feel like it is getting harder and harder to find what is good happening around us?  This past weekend was consumed with watching The Weather Channel to see what will happen with Hurricane Irma.  At the same time, Houston and Texas are still trying to recover from Hurricane Harvey.  Add to it all that today we will remember 9/11 and how that changed how we live and work.  Even in business, it can be hard to find what is going well, as we tend to gravitate to the bad news, first.  How uplifting it would be for each us to start today with attention on something that is good and positive.

There is really only one way that we can see through the bad and that is to focus on Him, who is the only pure and truly good in this world. Today, we will hear more bad news and more memories will be triggered that could bring us down.  All around us people need to see a smiling face who is rising above the bad.  Could that be you today?
