“But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.”

The best of companies and organizations come out when they rally together for a cause.  We are seeing that happen right now as companies are donating time and resources to support the victims of Hurricane Harvey.  It’s amazing how the focus to assist others who are in tragedy can be so strong.  I most noticeably watched it after 9/11, after the Tsunami, after Katrina and now for Texas.  It encourages us to see the commitment and giving of others and proves that companies can, when they decide to do so, make a real and positive influence.  Keep it up!

We are told to love God and love others.  Sometimes we get caught up not knowing how to do so.  James reminds us that we only need to look for what God has for us to do, then go do it, always remembering what we have to give to God and others. Then, we will also be blessed.  With each opportunity to show that we love and care for others we have the same opportunity to show others that our first cause is our love for God.
