“Jesus told them, “This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.””

There are high expectations for what the new batch of mobile phones will bring. We will likely know in October. But for now, we can speculate and one enhancement I am curious about is the two-sided camera.  I guess we’ve done “selfie”s long enough now and soon we will be able to take a picture of ourselves and others at the same time.  I don’t know how this is going to work, but it seems like a lot of people think that the “bothie” will replace the “selfie” soon.  Watch out, soon the term photo bomb will take on an all new meaning.

God challenges us to live out a “bothie” life for Him. It’s easy to be in our “selfie” mode and do what we want to do, when we want to do it.  But, to be in His will and committed to allowing God to direct our lives, is hard.  But, that is what we are called to do.  What is in our hearts is what drives us and if we are not filling ourselves with His Word and Spirit, then we are missing out on the “bothie” that is the life He wants us to live.  What does that mean for us today? It means that we aren’t to leave God behind this morning, it means that we are to ask him to come to work with us and lead us through this day.
