“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”

USA today had decided to stop publishing their best-selling books list.  That is, until they realized that lots of people and publishers included saw value in that list. USA Today has brought it back and with it will come readers and advertisers that they had lost.  Come to find out that we people want and need a list to tell us what others are doing.  From there, we decide what we should be doing.  Sometimes when we make decisions we just get it wrong and we say goodbye to a product or service that on the surface looks as though no one will miss it, until they do.  How to know what to do?  This is another great example of maybe asking and listening before making the decision would be best.

Asking and listening before we make a decision is a God thing. Consider that Jesus implores us to ask of Him as much as we want and need and then more.  Who else does that?  No one.  But, our God with His unlimited capacity wants us to bring Him everything and at all times.  And somewhere I am sure He has a list of top asked prayers, but we shouldn’t need to know what others are praying, we should just keep asking!
