“We must work the works of Him who sent me while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work.”

We more and more are hearing and seeing the reality that we have to explain to the current generation of workers entering the workplace “why” it is that they will want to do what we want them to do. It’s just not good enough anymore to provide good compensation, good benefits, and a good workplace environment. We have to have a “why” and that why has to be better than the why at another company.  We’d be wise to be developing and practicing our “why” so that when we need it, we are ready.

Jesus commanded all of us, His Disciples included, to get to work and to get to work now!  He didn’t need to explain, why and in fact his “why” was hard for the Disciples to understand.  But, they did it for Him and so must we.
