“Let the peace that Christ gives rule in our hearts.”

Our hearts go out to those who lost loved ones and friends in the Nepal earthquake this past weekend.  It is hard to fathom when looking at the images of what happened.  It is even harder when seeing friends on Facebook who lost someone they knew in this tragedy.  Our hearts become troubled when these events occur and they can be very troubling when we read of the personal accounts.  Many reach to give financially to support and help and that is good. Others who don’t have ways to give, will pray.  All of these are good and underlying it all we need to lean on the peace that God can uniquely place within our hearts.

Let’s today, in a dedicated prayer time, call upon Him to reveal the peace that passes all understanding within our own hearts and also to all of those who are feeling pain, loss and unsettling today. This is something important that we can do!
