day 2268: Failure Rate

“If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders away, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others on the hills and go out to search for the one that is lost?

What is the accepted failure rate in your business?  Is it 10%?  Well, that would mean that you would fail only 1 of 10 times.  But that is 100,000 failures for 1,000,000 attempts and 1,000,000 failures for 10,000,000 tries. Consider your interactions with your customers.  Can you afford to have hundreds or thousands of people who are upset and telling others about the poor service or experience from the company?  The numbers we choose for success or failure matter and can’t be masked in percentages that might make us feel good…at the time.

Isn’t it a great encouragement and feeling of security that God considers 100% of us His now and His forever?  We are not a rounding error or a percentage to Him.  He loves us so much that we get His all each and every day.  If that’s not enough to keep us going today, I don’t know what is!
