“You know what I am going to sayeven before I say it, Lord.”

There is a very cute Verizon ad on the air for the sales of the iphone 6.  In walks a customer but before he can say anything, the sales person begins to say the things that are on his mind.  He gets a little freaked out and it becomes funny.  But, it’s a great little lesson on what a great sales person is supposed to do.  They should know more about the customers’ desires and needs before the buyer can ever articulate what they are.  That is when things gets sold.  You don’t get there by having ESP.  You instead get there by doing your homework, working hard at knowing all you can, and not being afraid to anticipate.

It is God’s promise that He knows what we will say before we say it. But, that is both in the good and in the bad.  He knows that sometimes we are just going to blow it, but He doesn’t hold it against us as we can come back to Him again and again and the same living Father will be there to meet us where we are.  So, let’s today remember that He is there with us in every word.  We are never, ever, alone in what we have or will say.
