day 2061: What Will We Run For?

“They were both running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first.”

“Run don’t walk!”  We hear that when someone sees, hears, reads or watches something that they feel everyone else around them must experience as they did.  Or it might be that they need for them to hear about it firsthand.  When was the last time we were involved with such a venture, or a must-have product, or a service that is irresistible? Once in a lifetime, or more than once?  Well, what we many times forget is that when anything we offer that meets a real need and also exceeds the expectations of a consumer or a customer, it can receive the “Run don’t walk” endorsement.  Achieving this is not impossible, it’s as possible as each and every time we connect with a customer.

Mary Magdalene ran back to tell others that Jesus’ tomb was empty.  Peter and John ran back to see what she was talking about.  If only each and every day we could be so excited about Jesus that we would run to tell others at the same time we are running to Him! Today, we can run freely!  Will we?
