We hear, “once in a lifetime” many times in our lives.  And yes, there are some things that are once in a lifetime, like a birth or a death.  But in most cases, events are not really once in a lifetime.  Well, in the case of this blog, today, this is once in a lifetime. Why?  Because, this is post #2015 of purposed worKING and post 2015 falls within 2015, the first and only time that that one of my numbered posts will be the same number of the calendar year it appears.  Today happens to be the twelfth (12th) month, day 15, of 2015, but that means nothing, unless you are little dyslexic like I tend to be sometimes and it looks like 12-15-2015 means something too. But, it doesn’t.  But, it is real that today marks #2015 of this blog.  When I started this blog on October 1, 2008, I hadn’t the foggiest idea that I’d still be at it all these years later.

So, I’d like to take today and thank all of you for following along day after day, year after year, providing encouraging words, spreading the blog around, and doing your best to work and live a faithful and purposed life.  So, thank you for being a part of my once in a lifetime day and may each of you have a fully blessed day.
