day 3K47: Milk Run

“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”

A new startup called Milk Run as raised $6MM to fund its new concept.  Get this; have milk delivered to your doorstep daily from local dairies.  To some, this will sound like a novel idea because they never heard of such a thing and this farm-to-table idea will be a huge piece of innovation.  And to others, like those of us who have been around the block a few times will recognize the reemergence of a long-lost service.  Some of us will also remember that we were the beneficiaries of the demise of the service the first time as we built out our bedrooms and college dorms with no longer needed milk crates (that happened to be perfectly sized and shaped for our LP Albums – which even today’s new albums would fit nicely).  Yes, what goes around, comes around and if we are observant we can figure out how to take the old and make it feel new.  Although, in this case, I doubt the new delivery service will look like this:

While we come and go, our Father does not.  But, as we know, He is the God of creation and re-creation and He can take what was old and make it brand new.  That is, if we choose to allow Him to do so.  What is part of our old self that is today still hanging around that He wants us to remake and repurpose to the new and His good?
