“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven can be illustrated by the story of a man going on a long trip. He called together his servants and entrusted his money to them while he was gone.“

We are fortunate that we live in a country where we have many freedoms, including the freedom to invest our resources wherever we might like.  We are not subjugated with our time. For the most part we are not limited with where we can invest our money and we are not in any way suppressed with what we want to do with our personal energy and strength.  With freedom comes responsibility and each day we must consider what it is we do with these freedoms so that they are not wasted or exploited in a way that causes us to be limited in the future.  Each of us who are in a company have our freedoms within our budgets and hiring.  What are we doing with those precious resources so that we gain more and more freedom?

An upcoming guest on our Faith Driven Entrepreneur podcast pointed out that the “money managers” that are accounted for in the parable of the servants were not told where or how to invest the talents.  They were rewarded for their returns and all without being told how or where to invest what they were given.  God is so marvelous that way. He gives us our resources; time and talents, and then leaves it up to us how we will invest and multiply them.  Today we get to make some investments.  Where will they be that brings the most glory to Him?
