day 2415: Indefinite Time

“And remember, our Lord’s patience gives people time to be saved.”

I’ve been traveling now for the past 13 days reminding me just how indefinite my own life strength can be. On this trip a venture capitalist who invests in bio-tech talked about the possibility of an indefinite lifespan and how DNA with a little prompting from Immuno-therapy, etc. wants to regenerate to sustain and keep itself thriving and bettering.  This conversation also opens up many different thoughts of the future.  Just think how our world changes if on average we begin to live past 100 to 110 years of age.  If we are searching for the future, we should not ignore the aging who this time around are healthy, vibrant, purchasing and vital.

Okay, there is not an indefinite lifespan or time here on Earth.  Yes, it is likely that the younger readers here will live past 100 and might see 110+, but still, even after all those years, life will end.  This makes today precious and to not be wasted.  God has given us this day and He is looking for us to take this day and making the most of it for His glory. Our time is indefinite. Let’s remember this as we go about doing our best to bring Glory to God in all that we do.
