day 2894: Pathways

“Let those who are wise understand these things. Let those with discernment listen carefully. The paths of the Lord are true and right, and righteous people live by walking in them...”

At least once a day I hear now the word “path”.  It’s used a lot right now as so many are trying to scenario plan different “pathways” forward. Someone had to be first to scout out a pathway and the rest of us only follow in those steps. Pathways are important because they save us time, alleviate risk and ultimately improve both our productivity and efficiencies.  We have pathways all around us in our work, many which we follow routinely each day, never contemplating where they came from or if they remain the best path to be taken.  We need existing pathways and we also need to look for new pathways. It’s tricky to do both at the same time, but always worth pursuing.

Each and every day we need to be evaluating and searching to be sure that we are still on God’s path for our lives. This is the one path that we are not to try and find a better way, as His path is already true and right and can’t be improved.  Think on that and realize what a gift this is to us; that He has already done all the work to clear the way for us to have a fulfilled life.  Wow!
