day 2366: The Same Page

Jesus knew their thoughts and replied, “Any kingdom divided by civil war is doomed. A town or family splintered by feuding will fall apart.

“We’ve got to get on the same page”.  We know what that means, don’t we?  Someplace we have miscommunication, misalignment, misunderstandings or mistakes being made. interesting to me that we spend less time on alignment than we do on fixing misalignment.  If we only were to measure the amount of time this week that we spent on issues where we weren’t on the same page and would reinvest that same amount of time next week on aligning, imagine the return on investment we would get?

And yes, we are to be people of alignment! Alignment can bring peace.  Peace can allow potential to be explored.  If we are the ones who lead with alignment, we will be the ones who run counter to all else around us.  And when we are different, we get to say “why”.  When was the last time you had that opportunity and took it?  If we aren’t seeing the opportunities to speak into why, then it might be that we are not fully and closely on the same page with Him as we should be.
