day 2376: Delivery As A Service (D-a-a-S)

“For I know that as you pray for me and the Spirit of Jesus Christ helps me, this will lead to my deliverance.”

It won’t be long now and there won’t be a need to step into a big-box store.  Already, the large retailers are investing and moving towards their own vertical integration of delivery services.  Could Amazon really do better with their own delivery service than UPS or FedEx?  Well, the next time you get a chance, peek inside a UPS truck and become amazed at the number of Amazon Smile boxes you see.  Oh yeah, and don’t forget that those Zappos boxes are owned by Amazon too.  Delivery as a Service is the next big thing so it’s time to start thinking about how reliant we are on today’s services like FedEx and UPS when soon they might be Amazon and Wal-Mart planes and trucks instead.

I am working my way through the Old Testament and continue to be reminded once again that God delivers to us over and over.  He has shown up for mankind from the beginning, in different forms and ways, and still does today.  If there is the true creator of what it means to deliver, it is Him.  What is it that we are asking Him to deliver to us today?  Whatever it is we should now worries as we can expect that it will arrive right on His time.
